Scope and Contents The collection includes materials belonging to and about eighteenth-century Irish tenor and composer Michael Kelly. Concerning Kelly there are contemporary newspaper clippings regarding his performances, a hand-written list of his compositions and dates, and a subscription list from an effort to erect a memorial to him in Ireland after his death. Scope and Content Note From the Collection:

This collection consists of three series. The first series, correspondence, contains letters from Shane Leslie to various recipients. The dates of the letters range from 1916 to 1952, half of them written in 1916 and 1917. The second series contains manuscripts of various poems written by Leslie. Series three contains two Christmas cards signed by Leslie.
