These papers document the work of scholar and Boston College English professor Maurice J. Quinlan. Includes correspondence, manuscripts, articles, class notes, research notes, and diaries. The majority of the papers pertain to eighteenth-century English literature.

This collection documents the religious and teaching career of Charles J. Reardon, SJ, military chaplain, Jesuit, and professor in the Theology Department at Boston College. The collection consists of sermons and prayers of the faithful, and teaching materials on marriage and sexuality. Materials are mostly typescripts and manuscripts.

Collection documents Roland J. Regan's service in the 348th Engineer Combat Battalion in the U.S. Army during World War II. It consists primarily of photographs taken by Regan in England, France, and Germany from 1943-1945. It also includes U.S. Army memorabilia, German military artifacts, Irish printed material and ephemera, and materials related to firefighting.

These papers document the personal and professional activities of British Catholic author Anthony Rhodes, whose writing ranged from travelogues, to poetry, to history. Included are articles, clippings, correspondence, diaries, manuscripts, notes, and photographs. Many of the diaries focus on Rhodes's experience during World War II.

Consists of scrapbooks of nineteenth-century businessman Thomas F. Ring's personal and professional correspondence and manuscripts, and materials concerning the St. Vincent de Paul Society and other charitable and religious organizations.

Bound manuscript written in 19th-century cursive script. Unpublished, satirical, anti-Catholic, fantasy narrative that is an extended allegory of the Ritualism controversy that gripped the Anglican and Protestant Episcopal churches in the late 19th century. The alternative title "The Ritooralists" and the name "Edward Cobblestone" (presumably a pseudonym) are crossed out on the title page.

This collection documents the professional life and work of Irish writer George Russell, who published under the name "AE." It contains correspondence, manuscripts, artwork, and a photograph.

Consists primarily of correspondence between Father Russell and a Sister Mary Ignatia, who was involved with The Magnificat, a publication in Manchester, New Hampshire. The letters concern writers and books. There is also a letter to Russell from the writer Aubrey De Vere and a postcard portrait of Russell.
