Biographical note

The Liturgical Commission of the Archdiocese of Boston was established in 1964 to plan and implement the liturgical changes which followed the Second Vatican Council. The Commission was charged with advising the Archbishop in his role as chief liturgist of the archdiocese, promoting participation in the liturgy, and providing liturgical guidance and training to priests, deacons, and laypeople.
