O'Shea-Chaplin Irish Dancers
Administrative history
The O'Shea-Chaplin Irish Dancers were the competition and performance dance team of the O’Shea Chaplin Academy of Irish Dance. The academy was begun in Galway in approximately 1954 by Rita O’Shea, who relocated it to the Boston area in the early 1960s.

Music by the Gaelic Roots Ceili Band, including Kieran Hanrahan, Séamus Connolly, Brian Conway, Helen Kisiel, Catherine McEvoy, Jimmy Noonan, Laurel Martin, Brendan McGlinchey, and Beth Sweeney. The first hour of the céilí was recorded live for Raidió Teilifís Éireann (RTÉ).
