Biography

The Center for International Higher Education (CIHE) was established in 1995 within the Lynch School of Education and Human Development to promote research, dialogue, and policy development on global trends in higher education. Its founding vision emphasized the role of international perspectives in shaping educational practice and reform.

The Center is recognized for comparative research and international collaboration among scholars, policymakers, and institutions. It publishes the journal International Higher Education and produces analysis on topics including global mobility, cross-border partnerships, and equity in access to education.

CIHE also serves as a resource for academic leadership training and hosts visiting scholars from abroad. It maintains partnerships with universities, governments, and international organizations engaged in higher education development.
