Administrative history

In 2008, Weston Jesuit School of Theology and Boston College’s Institute of Religious Education and Pastoral Ministry merged to form the School of Theology and Ministry. The school offers graduate programs, including civil and ecclesiastical degrees in theology and ministry, as well as certificates and non degree continuing education courses.

In 2024, the school was renamed the Gloria L. and Charles I. Clough School of Theology and Ministry in honor of two of the University’s donors.
