Historical Note
Established as The Home Savings Bank in Boston in 1869. It changed its name to Home Savings Bank in 1983 prior to rebranding as the Yankee Bank for Finance and Savings in 1985. The bank failed in 1987 and was eventually acquired by Citizens Bank.
