Boston College. Winston Center for Leadership and Ethics

 Organization

Biography

In Spring 2006, the Carroll School of Management launched the Winston Center for Leadership and Ethics. Its programming centered upon the promotion of ethical leadership, research, and teaching by bringing together faculty, business executives, and students in a series of collaborative events. The first event took place with the inaugural event of the Clough Colloquium series.

The idea and initial funding for the Winston Center ame from a BC alumnus, Robert Winston, BC Class of 1960. Further contributions of energy and resources came from Charles Clough and Norm Chambers. Since 2006, the center has expanded its lineup of programming to include speaker series such as Clough Colloquium, Chambers Lecture Series, Forum on Ethics, and the Jane Jacobs Lecture; programs such as the Jenks Leadership Program; and publications.
