Biography
The Secretary was one of the original founding positions established in 1863 with the University charter. The Secretary is charged with the keeping of “an attested copy of the Charter of the corporation, the Bylaws of the corporation, the Statutes of the University, of all votes and minutes of the Board of Trustees and the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees; and he shall furnish copies of the above documents to any member of the Board of Trustees and any officer of the University who shall request the same, and to any administrative official of the University who shall be authorized by the Board of Trustees to inspect the same.
