Biographical note

Collegiate and professional football player. Doug Flutie was born in 1962 and attended Boston College from 1981-1985. He won the Heisman Trophy Award in 1984 and is known for the "Hail Mary Pass" in the BC v. Miami game of November 1984. After graduation, Flutie was a quarterback for several professional teams in the National Football League, United States Football League, and the Canadian Football League. He and his wife Laurie established the Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism.
