Biographical Note

Maurice V. Dullea, SJ was born in 1896. He attended Boston Latin School and Boston College where he played football, serving as captain of the 1916 team. In 1929 he was ordained to the priesthood. Dullea served as Boston College Faculty Moderator of Athletics for two terms, 1940-1943 and 1946-1957, and he was a Professor of Theology at Boston College from 1958 until he retired in 1967. Dullea died in 1984.
