Biographical Note

Ellen Curley Doyle, mother, Irish domestic, and immigrant to Canada. Doyle (1805-1891) was married to James Doyle (d. 1837), mother of Mary Doyle Evans, and domestic to the Persse family. In 1849, she left Ireland and immigrated to western Canada (now part of Ontario)
