Biographical Note

Cicely Mathews, wife of Graeme Roberts, was a teacher and radio presenter. She hosted and organized the British Broadcasting Corporation's Northern Ireland program Children's Hour (1945-1964). Prior to her work with the BBC, Mathews was a teacher of speech and drama.
