Biographical note
Michael Tubridy was a traditional Irish flute, whistle, and concertina player, step dancer, and teacher from County Clare. He was a founding member of the traditional Irish music group The Chieftains, performing with them from 1962 until 1979. He was a member of the Castle Céilí Band when they won the 1965 All-Ireland championship.
