Martin, Laurel
Biographical note
Laurel Martin was a fiddle player and teacher based in the Boston area. From 1990 to 1993 she studied Irish fiddle with Seamus Connolly through an apprenticeship grant from the National Endowment for the Arts. Since 1999 she has toured and recorded with the group Childsplay, co-authored a book of Irish traditional music, mentored students, and made collaborative and solo recordings.
