Biographical note
Aurélie Caouette was born on July 11, 1833 in Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec. She took on the additional name "Catherine" to honor Saint Catherine of Alexandria. In 1861, she founded the Sisters Adorers of the Precious Blood. She died on July 6, 1905 at the order's convent in Saint-Hyacinthe. She was declared Venerable in 2016.
