Gabriel
Biographical note
Gabriel is mentioned in the Book of Daniel and was also the angel sent to Zacharias and to Mary, to tell her that she was chosen to be the Mother of God. He is for this reason called "The Angel of the Annunciation." His feast was added to the general calendar of the Western CHurch in 1921.
