Scope and Contents
The testimony of Joshua Barrell of Bridgewater, Massachusetts, denying the allegation by Nathan Read that Barrell had hired Peter Cliff to observe Read's nail-making machine. Signed by justices of the peace John Treadwell and Thomas Bancroft, and entered into the Essex County Registry of Deeds, October 4, 1800.
