Bretholz, Myron
Biographical note
Based in the Washington, DC and Baltimore areas, percussionist Myron Bretholz performed traditional music from Ireland, Scotland, and other folk traditions beginning in the 1980s. He appeared on many albums, taught bodhrán and rhythm bones at North American festivals and workshops, and, in 2000, received a solo instrumental performance grant from the Maryland State Arts Council.
