Biographical note

Bobby Casey was a fiddle player from County Clare. He had lifelong friendships with musicians such as John Kelly, Willie Clancy, Paddy Canny, P.J. Hayes, Joe Ryan, and Junior Crehan. Casey moved to Dublin in the 1940s, then to London in 1952, making frequent visits back to Ireland. He twice won the Senior All-Ireland Fiddle Championship, in 1952 and 1968.
