Biographical note
Born in Hatboro, Pennsylvania, Seamus Egan was a multi-instrumentalist and composer in the Irish music tradition. He spent much of his childhood in Ireland in County Mayo, and by age 14 had won All-Ireland championships in four instruments. He has toured with groups such as the Green Fields of America, Solas, and Seamus Egan Project, and his compositions have been featured in films and documentaries.
