Falls Keohane, Sheila
Biographical note
Originally from Rhode Island, Sheila Falls Keohane was a classical violin and traditional Irish fiddle player, composer, and teacher. Her music was influenced by her family ties in County Mayo. A graduate of New England Conservatory, she won an All-Ireland fiddle title in the mid-1980s. She went on to perform with various classical and traditional music ensembles and has recorded multiple albums. She teaches music at Wheaton College and at Boston College.

Includes video recordings from two cameras in different locations (A and B). The audio quality for the first 25 minutes of the camera A video recording is poor, however the camera B and audio-only recordings are good.
The audio recordings on DTRS cannot be reformatted by Burns Library at this time and are not available for playback due to format impermanence. All audio and video recordings on DAT and mini-DV have been digitally copied and are accessible.
