Biographical note
Paddy Glackin from Dublin was a fiddle player and teacher. He won an All-Ireland fiddle championship in 1973 and received the TG4 Gradam Ceoil Musician of the Year award in 2022. An international performer, he has recorded both solo and in groups such as The Bothy Band. He served as the Traditional Music Officer with the Irish Arts Council and was a radio broadcaster with RTÉ.
