Biographical note
Kieran Hanrahan from County Clare was a radio host and tenor banjo player. In 1977 he won the All Ireland championship on the tenor banjo. He has worked with Raidió Teilifís Éireann since 1991 and hosts the weekly program Céilí House. He was the artistic director of TradFest Temple Bar and the director of Scoil Éigse, a traditional arts summer school. He was a founding member of the groups Inchiquin and Stockton's Wing.

Music by the Gaelic Roots Ceili Band, including Kieran Hanrahan, Séamus Connolly, Brian Conway, Helen Kisiel, Catherine McEvoy, Jimmy Noonan, Laurel Martin, Brendan McGlinchey, and Beth Sweeney. The first hour of the céilí was recorded live for Raidió Teilifís Éireann (RTÉ).
