Biographical note

Marcus Hernon was a whistle and flute player, composer, and flute maker from a musical family in Connemara. He has won various All Ireland titles and toured internationally with his brother P.J. Hernon. Among his other musical collaboratoins were the Tribes Céilí Band and Fíghnis.
