Biographical note

Singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Andy Irvine emigrated from London in the early 1960s from to Dublin, where he pursued both theatre and music. He has recorded and toured with-well known music groups such as Sweeney's Men, Planxty, Mozaik, and Patrick Street. He was recognized with a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2018 at the RTÉ Radio 1 Folk Awards.

Includes video recordings from two cameras in different locations (A and B). The audio quality for the first 25 minutes of the camera A video recording is poor, however the camera B and audio-only recordings are good.
