Biographical note
Originally from County Waterford, Tommy Keane was a whistle and uilleann pipes player, teacher, and producer. While living in London in the 1980s he was a member of Thatch Céilí Band. He later settled in Galway. He has toured internationally, worked with theatre groups, and served as the chairman of Na Píobairí Uilleann.
