MacDonald, Barbara (Pianist)
Biographical note
Barbara MacDonald Magone was a pianist and teacher in the Cape Breton tradition. Raised in Detroit with musical influences from Cape Breton, she has performed internationally, accompanying both Cape Breton and Irish musicians. In the late 1980s she was an accompanist for the National Council for the Traditional Arts' "Masters of the Folk Violin" tour.
