MacNamara, Mary
Biographical note
Mary MacNamara was a concertina player and teacher from County Clare. She has recorded several albums, played in festivals and concerts, and published a collection of traditional dance tunes. She won multiple All-Ireland titles as a solo performer and in a duo with the fiddle player Martin Hayes. In 2019 she received the MÓRglór Award for her support of musical traditions in East Clare.
