Mahon, William J.
Biographical note
Originally from Paterson, New Jersey, William (Willie) Mahon was a flute player, sean-nós singer, and professor of Celtic Studies. He graduated from Harvard in 1987 with a Ph. D. in Celtic Languages and Literatures. In 1995 he joined the faculty of the Department of Welsh and Celtic Studies at Aberystwyth University.
