Biographical note

Originally from the Glasgow area, multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer John McCusker played fiddle for eleven years with the Scottish traditional group Battlefield Band and has since performed and recorded in a variety of musical genres. In 2003, he was awarded the BBC Radio 2 Musician of the Year award, and received The Spirit of Scotland Award in both 1999 and 2009.

Includes video recordings from two cameras in different locations (A and B). The audio quality for the first 25 minutes of the camera A video recording is poor, however the camera B and audio-only recordings are good.
