Biographical note
Born and raised in Edinburgh, Ed Miller was a Scottish folk singer, guitarist, folklorist, teacher, and radio host who has lived in Austin, Texas since arriving as a graduate student in 1968. He hosted the “Folkways” program on KUT-FM and “Across the Water” for Sun Radio's KDRP. He has performed and taught at concerts, festivals, and camps, including at the Smithsonian Folklife Festival in 2003.
