Biographical note

Michelle Mulcahy was a multi-instrumentalist in County Limerick whose Irish harp playing earned her the title of TG4 Young Musician of the Year in 2006. She has recorded and performed widely, including both as a soloist and with her family. She earned a Ph. D. in Ethnomusicology from the University of Limerick, where she teaches in the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance.
