Biographical note
Originally from County Cork, Donncha Ó Muineacháin (formerly Denis Moynihan) was a set and céilí dancer and teacher with an extensive repertoire of older Irish steps. He settled in Dublin, dancing with the Abbey Theatre in 1974 and collaborating with dancer Celine Hession. He choreographed dances for stage and television and was a regular performer on international tours such as "Na Ridirí" and Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann.
