Biographical note
From County Tipperary, Gerry O’Connor was an Irish fiddle, guitar, and banjo player, teacher, and composer. Best known for his work on the four string banjo, he has performed and recorded solo and with groups such as Four Men and a Dog in the 1990s. In 2004 his "No Place Like Home" album was named the Number 1 Traditional/Folk album by The Irish Times.
