Scott, Laura
Biographical note
Based in Portland, Maine, Laura Scott was a performer, choreographer, adjudicator, and teacher of Scottish dance. A native of Wenham, Massachusetts, she spent a number of years in the Boston area before she and her husband, Ed Pearlman, moved to Maine in the 1990s. In addition to her focus on Highland dancing, she has performed Cape Breton stepdance, Highland hardshoe, and other dance styles.
