Biographical note

David Surette was a guitar, mandolin, cittern, and bouzouki player, teacher, and composer from North Conway, New Hampshire. He directed folk music programs at the Concord Community Music School and organized an annual mandolin festival. He was a frequent musical collaborator whose music was influenced by his Acadian heritage, other Celtic traditions, folk, bluegrass, country, and rock.
