Pellegrini, Lee B.

 Person

Biography

Lee Pellegrini began his work at Boston College in 1977, returned in 1996, and was appointed director of photography in 2019. Over the course of nearly five decades, he documented the University’s shift from film to digital photography and produced an extensive visual record of campus life. Pellegrini photographed major institutional events—including Commencement, the Mass of the Holy Spirit, and other annual ceremonies as well as day-to-day academic and student activities. His portrait photography appeared widely in University publications, and his long-term coverage of Robsham Theater performances became a defining element of his body of work.
