Biographical note
Sebastián Malvar y Pinto (1730-1795) was a Spanish Franciscan friar, theologian, university professor, and Catholic archbishop. He held the positions of Bishop of Buenos Aires (1777–1783) and Archbishop of Santiago de Compostela (1783–1795).
