Biographical note

George E. Ryan (1925-2000) was a writer who spent the majority of his career as a writer and editor for The Pilot, the oldest Catholic weekly newspaper in the United States. He graduated from Boston College High School, and received his BA and his MA in English from Boston College in 1951 and 1953, respectively.
