Biographical Note

British Catholic priest and author. Frederick Charles Husenbeth (1796-1872) was born in Bristol, England, and attended St. Mary's College, Oscott, where he was ordained in 1820. He served the community of Cossey, in Norfolk, from shortly after his ordination until his death. In addition to his ministry, he wrote extensively on both the history and contemporaneous issues in English Catholicism. In 1850 he received a Doctor of Divinity from Rome.
