Biographical Note
G.K. Chesterton was born in Kensington. He attended the Slade School of Art, and his first book appeared in 1901. Chesterton edited the New witness and later founded G.K.'s weekly. He converted to Catholicism in 1922. Chesterton wrote numerous essays, articles, stories, biographies, novels, and poems.
