Biographical Note

A Jesuit, theologian, and professor, Miles L. Fay, SJ was born in 1921 in New Bedford, Massachusetts. He entered the Society of Jesus in 1940, earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in philosophy from Weston College in 1946 and 1947, and was ordained a priest in 1953. From 1955 until 1963, Fay was director of admissions at the College of the Holy Cross. He taught theology at Boston College from 1963 until his death in 1990.
