Conservation note

The antiphonal leaf in folder 2 has a diagonally torn corner, a 1.5" tear at the fore edge, and knife slits, which were repaired with paper patches prior to acquisition by the Burns Library. In 2019, the Burns Library conservator removed prior repairs and mended with Japanese paper and adhesive, as well as with a more traditional medieval sewing method.
