Scope and Contents

Materials document Margaret Heckler’s 16 years in the House of Representatives, from 1967-1982. Legislative files document committee and caucus work, as well as travel as a member of Congressional delegations. Constituent services materials document Heckler’s work on behalf of the 10th District and include grant and project files, issue mail, and background information on towns and organizations. Heckler’s public relations activities are documented through appointment books, audio and video recordings, event files, photographs, scheduling files, and speeches.
