Topical files relevant to Boland’s work on behalf of the 2nd District of Massachusetts. The materials concern towns, cities, organizations, companies, programs, business interests, and events in his district, as well as Massachusetts and New England. A large amount of the material relates to the closing of the Springfield Armory in the late 1960s and Westover Air Force Base. Materials in the files often include correspondence, clippings, photographs, reports, memos, and notes.
