Cities and countries that Boland traveled to throughout the course of his time in Congress, primarily on Congressional delegations and fact-finding trips, but also some personal travel. Files include background materials about the area, cultural information, itineraries, invitations to events and dinners, airline flight information, correspondence and other travel ephemera.

Collection is open for research with the following exceptions: Series V. Subseries C. Immigration casework files; Series IX. Subseries B. Boxes 45-48 and 58-59; and files throughout the collection with financial or privacy concerns identified by the archivist.
