Briefing binders on different aspects of the budget, press conference briefings, statements and briefings for Congressional hearings, memos, and notes primarily document the Department of Health and Human Services' budget proposals for fiscal years 1984-1986, with a small amount of material on fiscal year 1987. Most of the materials were removed from binders. Also includes cassette and microcassette tapes of budget briefings and a recording of a House Appropriations Committee hearing from February, 1984.
