Scope and Contents

This series documents the various professional activities undertaken by Larkin. The first subseries contains papers, programs, and other materials related to various conferences and festivals organized or attended by Larkin. The second subseries contains talks and lectures on Irish and Irish Roman Catholic history on various occasions. The third subseries contains Larkin’s curricula vitae and faculty reports on his teaching and administrative duties at the University of Chicago. The fourth subseries contains talks and lectures on Irish and Irish Roman Catholic history given on various occasions. The fifth subseries contains papers that document Larkin’s role in the National Endowment for the Humanities. The sixth and final subseries documents Larkin’s consultations for three television programs on Irish and British history.
