In 2003 Doyle transitioned from film to digital photography. All her digital work is in the form of JPEG-formatted files. While some directories of digital images include the word "raw", they are not camera raw files. Doyle seems to have used "raw" to indicate a full set of the images and "picked" to indicate her selections. The majority of the photographs are commercial work shot on a digital camera. A small amount of her black-and-white photojournalism, likely scans of silver gelatin prints, are also included.
